A number of Cairns Catholic colleges have been recognised for their achievements following an analysis of Queensland high schools.
St Augustine’s College and St Monica’s College, both in Cairns, and St Andrew’s Catholic College in Redlynch were recently named as part of independent website Better Education’s top 100 schools in the state for 2020.
Cairns Catholic Education Services Acting Executive Director Ian Davis said it was wonderful to see a number of Cairns Catholic secondary colleges on the list.

Mr Davis said 2020 had been particularly unique for students, as Far North Queensland and the rest of the world faced unprecedented challenges while grappling with the onset of COVID-19.
