Early Learning & Care

The Diocese of Cairns sees education from a whole of life perspective. Early Childhood Education and Care is a significant priority for the Diocese, and family, service and community are central to Diocesan Church culture.

In response, the Cairns Diocese has created a Catholic Early Learning and Care (CELC) ministry that encompasses Outside School Hours Care, Childcare and Kindergarten.

CELC offers day care options from ages six weeks to 3.5 years, kindergarten options from 3.5 years to school age and Outside School Hours Care services for school-aged children.
