ACCIST - Cairns Catholic and Independent Schools Therapy

Cairns Catholic and Independent Schools Therapy (ACCIST) comprises of Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Physiotherapy services.

We work with the education teams in schools in the Cairns regional area to support students with a disability. These students include those who were recorded in the latest submission of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) as receiving supplementary, substantial or extensive adjustments.

ACCIST is funded through the state government’s Specialist Disability Support in Schools program and proudly supported by the Roman Catholic Trust Corporation and Catholic Education Services – Diocese of Cairns.
