Held at the recently redeveloped Hugh O’Brien Centre at St Mary’s Catholic College, the 2024 Docemus Awards celebrated stand-out staff and volunteers from our Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns community.
Founded by former Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns Director Tom Doolan and meaning ‘to teach’, the Docemus Awards acknowledge and celebrate the unwavering commitment, achievements and exceptional contribution to Catholic education by staff, volunteers and supporters.
“As always, the recipients of the awards represent the very best of what Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns has to offer – professional, committed, caring staff who always have the best interests of our students and communities at heart,” said Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns Executive Director Bill Dixon.
“This week has certainly been a celebration of Communities of Faith, Hope and Love – that is who we are and we proudly do that every day.”
